EASE Conference Presentation Proposal

2019 Theme: "Advancing Authentic, Intentional, Thoughtful and Mindful Inclusive Practices"


Vision: The Educating ALL Students with Excellence (EASE) conference will provide professional learning opportunities and presentations highlighting a wide variety of topics related to the curriculum and instructional needs of students with disabilities.

Proposal Components

  1. Title:
  2. Provide a short proposal title – no more than 50 characters.

  3. Target Audience:
  4. Administrator Teacher Parent/Community

  5. Relevance:
  6. Explain in no more than 300 characters how the proposal relates to the theme of the conference. Also include the tools, resources, tangible take-aways, etc., that will be provided to participants.

  7. Brief Description:
  8. Write an informative and interesting description of your presentation in 300 characters; include specific objective(s), topic(s), and target audience. (If accepted, this description will be used in the conference program.)

  9. Summary:
  10. Summarize the proposal in 600 characters or less. Preference will be given to proposals that describe practical models, programs, methods, strategies, or practices that are research-based and validated.

  11. Biographical Sketch:
  12. Provide brief (1800 characters) biographical information about relevant professional experience. (One needed for each presenter)

  13. Contact Information for Each Presenter:
  14. Provide title, address, phone, fax, and email.

Deadline for Submission: September 15, 2019

EASE brings parents, school administrators, general and special education teachers, and service providers together for a day filled with informative, educational and awareness-building sessions on a broad range of special education topics that promote inclusive practices for students with disabilities.
